I went to see Fenwick HSvs. Proviso East HS varsity girls play last night and there were 5 players that have played and or were trained at the Bulls Academy. At one point, 4 of the girls were on the floor together playing! Fenwick won 99-61! The players are: Alyssa Dengler, Colleen Forkin, Anne Mullen, Serafina Nuzzo and Tawny Tucci. Great job girls!!! Coach Dave Power continues to be the mastermind behind the Friar success!

Diamond Taylor, Bolingbrook HS and future University of Wisconsin player, hit 29 points in his debut for Coach Rob Brost in Decatur last night. Diamond is a Bulls Academy alumni and Coach Brost is the former Supervisor of Basketball at the Bulls Academy. Go Raiders!!!

Kendall Salley scored 14 points in his 2nd game at Lincoln-Way North HS. Kendall transferred from Homewood-Flossmoor HS and trains at the Bulls Academy. Lincoln-Way North's head coach is Bob Curran, formerly the head coach at Thornwood HS. Curran is one of the best HS coaches on the circuit!

Happy Thanksgiving and happy Holiday Hoops!! Talk to you on Monday.

Yesterday, we had 3 Chicago Bulls Training Academy players in the profiled in the sports section of the Chicago Sun-Times on their top 50 players list. These young men have been trained at the Chicago Bulls Training Academy since they were in 6th grade.

The players are: Drew Crawford, Naperville Central High School, Diamond Taylor, Bolingbrook High School and Zeke Upshaw, University High School in Chicago. Drew signed a letter of intent to play basketball and attend Northwestern University. Diamond signed a letter of intent to play basketball and attend the University of Wisconsin. Zeke signed a letter of intent to play basketball and attend Illinois State University.

I am extremely proud of all three young men because of their character and work ethic. They have all worked hard to obtain scholarships to these fine institutions. Congratulations fellas!!!
